Our Card business was established in 1987 following a four month trip to central Australia where Paul photographed and I drew and painted with pastel and water colour. I photographed my paintings to make christmas cards for friends, and encouraged by the response went on to make cards for the market using these and Paul’s lovely photos. A few years later the name Shambhala came to me in a dream in reference to the work we were doing. There are many descriptions and explanations of the word. I like the simple meaning of it being a holy place or realm.
These days we live in the Blue mountains of New South Wales and continue to travel and photograph and paint and make cards & prints of our work.
